Palmetto International Piano Festival celebrated its fifth year anniversary with the largest class of young pianists in its history. 26 young pianists, selected by audition, ages 10 - 18, traveled from Ohio, Idaho, California, Texas, Florida, New York, New Jersey, and Toronto and joined the festival for a productive two weeks of lessons, master classes, and performances.

Gijon International Piano Festival will celebrate 25 years with an event at Yamaha Artist Services in New York City. Performances by notable alumni and faculty, as well as words by Director Amy E. Gustafson and Founder Julian Martin.

Gustafson will perform Saint Saens' beloved Carnival of the Animals with the Nittany Valley Symphony in February of 2026.

Music and Movement in a Box is a new curriculum for children ages 2 - 5 an all-in-one kit that provides a screen-free fun, positive and interactive experience with classical music. Children will hear classical favorites and will learn about rhythm, pitch, tempo, dynamics and much more through original games and activities. Kit includes book, original audio tracks recorded by Dr. Gustafson, and curated accessories.

Amy E. Gustafson will be directing a new piano festival in South Carolina in Summer of 2019, the Palmetto International Piano Festival, which will be a unique program of intensive piano study designed for middle and high school students who are serious about piano playing. Set on the beautiful campus of Erskine College in Due West, South Carolina, PIPF will offer a focused environment for concentrated study; a family-like atmosphere with a lot of individual attention; mentorship and lessons from the highest caliber faculty; master classes and recitals by world-renowned guest pianists; and the opportunity to perform on the beautiful concert Steinway in Memorial Hall at Erskine College as well as in a recital in Greenville, South Carolina at the Carolina Music Museum.

Gustafson will be a special guest at the second edition of Porto Pianofest in Portugal. She will present a lecture on the recording process in conjunction with the release of her new album.
